What is Opinion Pulse?

Opinion Pulse is an online community giving you the opportunity to share your opinions on a wide range of topics by taking part in online surveys and other research tasks, depending on your interests. Your opinions and feedback will help our clients make important business decisions about their products and services.

Points will be awarded for your time and you will be able to trade in your points for vouchers to spend at a retailer of your choice.

Potentia Insight is a market research company based in London, conducting research in a variety of sectors. We support our clients to make strategic decisions quickly by providing high quality data they can trust.

Who can join Opinion Pulse?

Opinion Pulse is open to any UK resident aged 16+. 

How do I become a member of Opinion Pulse?

You can sign up to Opinion Pulse by clicking the “Sign up today” button in the right-hand column, the button on the home page or you may have received a direct link to take you through to our sign-up survey. 

The first step will be completing a short survey asking about a range of topics so that we can get to know you better and to ensure we are sending you the most relevant surveys.  

After completing the sign-up survey, you’ll receive a confirmation email to complete your registration then you will be all set to give us your opinions.

How do I update my details?

Once you are a member, you will be able to update details in the Profile area once you have logged in.  Periodically we will also send around profile update surveys to find out about your latest interests.

How do you use my personal information?

How do I take part? 

When a new survey is ready for you, we will send an invite by email to let you know, with a link to the survey and the relevant details - when the closing date is, how long the survey will take and how many points you’ll receive for completing it.  We however won’t typically tell you exactly what the survey topic will be in the invite.

Surveys are typically available between 3 and 10 days from receiving the invite. 

All surveys you are invited to but have not yet completed are also available in the Surveys area once you are logged in. 

Although we have your information from the sign-up process, not all surveys will be relevant for all members and we need to make sure we are getting opinions from a range of respondents so in some cases you won’t be able to fully complete a survey and this will typically happen in the first few questions. 

How often do I have to take part?

You can take part in as many or as few of the surveys we invite you to as you would like.  The more surveys you take, the more points you will receive bringing you closer to a voucher. 

How do I earn points?

Each survey we invite you to will be worth a number of points.  In the survey invite we will tell you how many points you will receive for successfully fully completing the survey. 

We have tried to make the points system as simple as possible; a 5 minute survey would usually be worth 50 points, 10 minutes 100 and so on. 

Potentia Insight ensures they are providing quality data to their clients, therefore survey data is reviewed and quality verified.  If you responses do not pass quality verification you will not be eligible for the points offered.

Points earned need to be used within 18 months before expiring.

How do I exchange my points into vouchers?

Once you have accumulated enough points, you will be able to go to the rewards page and request your voucher.  

At present, we have Amazon vouchers available and are currently looking to expand the selection.  

Vouchers will be sent within 10 working days of the request.  

How long will I remain on Opinion Pulse?

Once you are signed up, you can choose to stay on Opinion Pulse for as long as you like.

In cases where a member’s responses have failed verification on multiple occasions or other fraudulent behaviour has occurred they may removed from Opinion Pulse, forfeiting any accumulated points. 

What if I forget my password?

If you cannot remember your password, simply click on the “Reset password” button in the right hand column.

How do I leave Opinion Pulse?

If you want to leave Opinion Pulse, you can use the Unsubscribe function in the Profile area, the link on the bottom of all our e-mail communication or you can contact us at hello@opinionpulse.co.uk.

Note, that any unredeemed points will be lost once you unsubscribe from Opinion Pulse.
